Award winning Lakin's Gorges Cheese was founded in 2011 and produces original recipe cow's milk cheeses, year round. They are available at the East Forty Farm Store in Waldoboro, at retailers around the state and are available for shipping nationwide. Looking for a special treat? Consider ordering a Cheese Board for Two To-Go or a Glorious Graze. These can be purchased at the farm and taken to the beach or on your hike or to your couch. Planning a special event? Reserve the Summerhouse for a Private Cheese or Fondue Party for up to 6 people. Located on the Medomak River, our Farm Store is open year round selling only products produced on the farm, including Lakin’s Gorges Cheese, our whey fed pork, and handmade pasta. Having a special event? The Summerhouse can be reserved year round for private cheese parties for up to 6 people. The Cowside Supper Series is held the third Sunday of the month, July through October with menus highlighting what we raise on the farm and seasonal produce. We host the Long Cove Farmers Market on Mondays from 3-6, July through October. Foleys Custom Sawmill does onsite custom milling of up to 40 feet logs.
