Pamelamas LLC is a small Maine farm producing luxurious alpaca fiber. Alpacas are ideal animals as they are earth-friendly, quiet, and relatively easy to maintain on a small acreage. They entertain us with their distinct personalities and herd dynamics, while providing us with a yearly harvest of their exquisite fiber. Alpaca fiber is warm but lightweight, soft yet strong, and the lack of lanolin keeps it hypo-allergenic for most people. We sell yarn, socks, scarves, mittens, gloves, boot inserts, and other fiber products in our farm store. We are open by chance and by appointment, periodically for Open Farm Days, and can be found at various local events, markets, and fairs.
